About
As part of Harley-Davidson’s partnership announcement with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), the brand staged a fake press conference in order to surprise six U.S. military veterans with brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Keeping with the military theme, the bikes themselves were specially flown down from Pittsburgh to Jacksonville in a long-retired Air Force C-123K airplane, nicknamed “Thunder Pig.”
The surprise event not only kickstarted the brand partnership, but also led to a video series that featured many of these veterans sharing their personal stories of living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Below, you can watch the story of Raymond Andalio, an Iraq war veteran and WWP alumnus who was one of the six veterans surprised with a new motorcycle.
